Part of the trail follows the St. Barbara Nature Trail in Černý Důl. The walking trail is dedicated to St. Barbara, the patron saint and protector of miners. A symbolic landmark along the trail is the Chapel of St. Barbara. The walls feature scenes from miners’ lives. A unique feature of the trail is six Schwarzenthal folk tales (fairy tales, legends) about the Krkonoše Mountains
