Information
The bell tower at Vlašské boudy is a place where our ancestors used to meet, pause and reflect. Each enclave had its own chapel, shrine or cross. Their construction was financed by local donors. Natural materials and traditional techniques were used to build the bell tower to withstand the harsh weather conditions. The roof is made of split shingles, a typical material of the Krkonoše. It was often used to build local chalets because it lasts longer than planks.
From the bell tower there is a beautiful view of Světlá hora, Pomezní boudy, Rýchory and the whole of the Krkonoše.
