Information
Rýchory, the least visited easternmost part of the Krkonoše Mountains west of Žacléř, consists of a belt of wide forested ridges. Gold was mined on the slopes of the ridge from the 16th to the 18th century, hence the older name of Zlaté Rýchory. After the Second World War, a pastoral forest with bizarre beech trees developed on the higher slopes. It was also one of the first reservations in the Krkonoše Mountains - Rýchorská květnice.
