Stráž, or Strážník as it is also called, was one of the places where fire and smoke signals were sent when enemy troops entered our country. The smoke signal was then picked up by other patrols in Kozákov and deeper into Bohemia. On the rocks of Strážník there are four modern lookouts inspired by the emblem of Rokytnice. They symbolise four villages that in ancient times formed one town - Rokytnice.
